CINQUE TERRE & BEYOND
PORTOVENERE - MONTEROSSO - VERNAZZA
Departure from La Spezia
Full day (8 hours in total). Discovering the magnificent village of Portovenere, the steep coastline of the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO heritage site, and two of its pearl: Monterosso and Vernazza.
Tour starts at 10 am – Finishes at 5:45 pm.
1. In about 20 minutes you will reach Portovenere, the fortified seaside village that has fascinated myriads of visitors, artists and directors from all over the world. Here you can take the route recommended by us accompanied by our guide or follow the itinerary on the app Cinque Terre & Beyond or on the map.
2. Second stop: Monterosso. You will reach the medieval old town in a few steps. Here you will be able to admire the church dedicated to San Giovanni Battista and then enjoy the landscape and the beach of Fegina from Torre Aurora. Some free time to spend on the most famous beaches or to have a typical Ligurian meal.
Continuation of navigation to the last stop: Vernazza, called the pearl of the Cinque Terre.
3. Vernazza appears to visitors arriving from the sea like the prow of a ship: most of the village is in fact built on a small promontory that ends at the sea with an imposing fortification system built by the Genoese.
Enjoy your guided tour and some free time to spend around the village and get ready to embark and return to La Spezia.
